Ludvika, Sweden November 4, 2025 – As Sweden’s construction and real-estate sector strives for greater efficiency and data-driven decision-making, Sakofall — a fast-growing developer building across small and mid-sized communities throughout the country — is taking a major step forward. The company has successfully implemented AI in its operations through an early partnership with Brickanta AI.
For years, the construction industry has struggled with heavy documentation requirements and constantly changing workflows that make decision-making both time-consuming and error-prone. “Sakofall has been a fantastic early partner – they have the ambition and speed required for AI implementation to happen and continuously improve. Brickanta’s mission is to bring the construction and real-estate industry into the AI era. It’s inspiring to see agile players like Sakofall and how the technology supports real-world community building,” says Lucas Otterling, CEO and co-founder of Brickanta.
As part of this effort, Sakofall has integrated Brickanta as an intelligent layer on top of its existing systems. The platform leverages historical Swedish project data, searches internal documentation, and suggests relevant reference cases, suppliers, and risk points already during the tendering phase. During execution, meeting notes can be instantly transformed into ready-to-use project documents — reports, control lists, and other production materials — without adding administrative burden.
“Brickanta gives us better profitability and control. We can identify potential pitfalls early in the project phase and create clarity from start – something that benefits both clients and contractors,” says Tom Sakofall, CEO and founder of Sakofall. He adds: “And because we can take the tool with us to the construction site, all information is accessible wherever we are – on tablet, phone, or computer.”
The impact is also clear in day-to-day work. “All our files are synced with the service, which makes my job so much easier. Instead of searching through folders and documents, I can simply ask the chat and immediately get the information I need,” says Emma Björk Ryttar, Project Coordinator.
The result: fewer change orders, shorter waiting times, and more focus on planning and quality. “AI is a tool just like the hammer and the nail,” concludes Lucas Otterling. “It’s here to help builders build – faster, smarter, and with less waste. Sakofall shows how the future of real estate development and construction is already underway.”
Sakofall and Brickanta look forward to continuing their partnership and driving the industry toward a more data-driven and sustainable future together.
