Highlighted text edits, inline file previews and implementation description
We're back from the long weekend with new energy and a full pipeline. As I write this newsletter (that is me, Sebastian, the Marketing guy) the whole team is currently at our spring offsite on the countryside, building the next level of Brickanta together. Very exciting, but more on that soon.
In the meantime, we still shipped new things for you. Here are three updates that went live this week.
#1 Highlighted text edits

We added a toggle to AI Documents that highlights any text edited by a person. Your team's additions and changes are marked so you always know what the AI wrote and what a human refined. The toggle is off by default, so simply turn it on when you need the clarity.
#2 Inline file previews for SharePoint projects

Remember last week's news about our Microsoft partnership? This is what it looks like in practice. Thanks to our upgraded partnership, we can now offer inline file previews directly inside Brickanta for SharePoint-connected projects. Both in procurement and the file explorer in the workspace (arbetsyta). No more opening files in a new tab just to see what's inside. This is the kind of product improvement that our Microsoft partnership makes possible, and it won't be the last.
#3 Implementation description (Genomförandebeskrivning)

When bidding on a construction contract, the implementation description (genomförandebeskrivning) is often the document that decides whether you win or lose. It is also the most time-consuming to write. You need to read the evaluation criteria, understand the client's priorities, pull the right technical details from the tender documents, and weave it all into a cohesive, professional narrative. That process takes days. Sometimes weeks.
Our new Implementation Description feature generates a complete first draft in minutes. Upload your tender documents (technical descriptions, response templates, supporting material). Select the template. Brickanta reads the evaluation criteria, identifies which topics carry the most weight and produces a structured draft with project-specific details, the right formal tone, and proper emphasis where it matters most.
The result is a professional document with clear headings and contractor-appropriate language, ready to refine and submit. You can also steer the focus with a custom instruction such as "put extra emphasis on collaboration and environmental considerations" and the AI adapts the structure accordingly.
Days of writing, compressed into a starting point your team can build on.

Three updates live. Signed off by the team at the offsite where the next level of Brickanta is being built as we speak.
See you next week.
