Challenge
H2 grows fast, and every new project brings thousands of documents, dozens of procurements and the same administrative load as the last one.
H2 builds, develops and manages its own properties, so its people carry a project from early calculation through procurement, production and handover. Much of that work is reading. Buyers go through specifications and drawings by hand to put together procurement packages for subcontractors. Project leaders hunt through Dropbox for the latest version of a document. Lessons from earlier projects sit in H2’s own knowledge base, but are hard to find when they’re needed. Growth meant the administrative load was growing faster than the team.
Solution
H2 brought Brickanta into its real projects, starting with procurement, and has helped shape the platform around how a builder actually works.
Brickanta connects to H2’s Dropbox and reads entire projects, including internal files, consultants’ drawings and the full project binder. Buyers use it to create procurement packages that follow H2’s own rules: they include the complete requirements specification, leave out cancelled documents, and highlight environmental certifications such as Svanen and Miljöbyggnad. Project leaders ask questions in project chat and get answers with the source document attached. H2 and Brickanta meet weekly, and H2’s feedback goes straight into the product.
Results
H2 uses Brickanta in live projects and has made its own way of working part of the platform.
